How much is it to secure our date and book?
Typically, I request 50% of the total quote required to secure your date/s. Payment details will be provided once you are happy with my quotation and services provided. Your date/ booking is not secure until a deposit is paid. The booking fee/deposit is deducted from the overall cost of your chosen wedding package.
When is the remaining balance due to be paid?
Your final balance for your wedding event is due 1 month before your wedding date, but you can pay at any time before this or even on the wedding day itself.
What form of payments are accepted?
The preferred method of payment is via Bank Transfer. Bank details will be on the invoice and email communications
What happens after we book?
The moment you book with me, you can relax. You are now covered for your media requirements and my client care from start to end will provide you with a stress free experience. I will e-mail you a few weeks before your wedding requesting an ittenary, or additional requirements you may have, or changes on your event/s. My advice is always free, so please make use of any opportunity to ask me anything you may be unsure. As a Professional Wedding Photographer, I have the knowledge and experience to give advice and information.
Do you charge for travelling?
Typically, I factor any travel into the quote beforehand, and do my best not to add any additional costs towards you. However, I may have to charge, if the event is out of Greater London, or for other forms of transport such as flights and accommodation if I need to stay over. All this information, again, is clearly stated on the quote.
When will my wedding photography be ready?
My turn around time for Photography is typically 1 month, and this can vary slightly depending on workload, wedding season and scale of events.
What cameras do you use?
My main cameras are Canon & Sony DSLR’s, as they are small & discrete and more importantly produce excellent HD image quality.
Do you do this full time?
Yes, i do this full time, to allow for the creative editing to be applied to your wedding photography. From attending your event, processing the data, editing and final delivery of the media product, all my work is from myself and done in-house
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes, I have professional business insurance including public liability, professional indemnity & equipment cover. Your wedding venue may typically ask for these documents which I am happy to supply to them
Is this your best price?, would you “price match” this company or do a cheaper price?
I really try to give you my best quote.

Are you experienced ?
Having done well over 150 Weddings and even more pre-wedding events, I think I am very experienced. However, every year, there is always newer technology & styles to implement into Photography, which I am always learning.
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY ?
From the moment we meet at consultation, I will go through your expectations and requirements for your big day. The shoots i do are a mixture of traditional, journalistic, candid and creative imagery. Thus, on delivery of the final media, you will have a good variety of shots taken. I work very closely and listen to my clients, and get a solid understanding of what they want captured, as well as putting my creative measures into play.
DO YOU TRAVEL FAR FOR WEDDINGS?
Over the years, I have traveled to many locations throughout the UK, from Southampton to Scotland, and Kent to Wales. My clients get married in all types of venues in various areas, so its part of my workflow to travel and start well before the day begins, to get the day captured as best as possible.
DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS ?
Absolutely. I have already covered weddings in Mauritius, Dubai, Paris, Croatia and Malta. Therefore, I have very good experience on what to expect, how to plan and ensure the right coverage is in place for any wedding in any location.
HAVE YOU SHOT AT MY VENUE BEFORE ?
I have covered many venues during my time as a Photographer, but as you can imagine, there are many venues out there which i will not have come across. My work flow includes doing prior research on the venue online, to check for Photography hot spots, and landscape research, so when arriving on site, it will just be a case of setting up and shooting immediately.
WHAT IF WE DECIDE WE NEED YOU LONGER THAN THE CONTRACTED HOURS?
Sometimes, weddings do run late, or the clients need me more than they initially decided. This is not a problem, I do tend to stay a bit longer than the contracted hours, but if we are looking at more than 1 to 2 hours, i try to advise an overtime rate which is very acceptable.
WhAT IF AMAR CANNOT MAKE IT TO THE WEDDING ?
These are realistic issues which need to always be prepared for. I have a 100% track record of attending my clients weddings to date. However, if an illness prevents me from attending, I have very experienced photographers on standby within my team or from other companies, who are always available to cover me. The high costs which they work by, would be covered by myself solely, to ensure you are still getting a fantastic portfolio of shots, whether I am present or not.
WILL AMAR BE SHOOTING MY WEDDING?
Absolutely. And depending on the type of bespoke package created, i have a team of Photographers and Videographers, working under AmarGMedia to ensure maximum coverage
ARE YOUR FEE's FLEXIBLE ?
I always try to provide my clients the best possible and competitive prices in the industry. Most of the times I will get booked quickly based on my fee's, however, in some circumstances, if i were provided a written quote from the potential client of another company offering the same services for less, i would look at this closely, and try to beat this price, if i am able to do so.
THERE IS A TIME GAP ON THE DAY - IS THIS CHARGEABLE ?
Once we conduct the consultation, the price I quote you will encompass this questions, along with all other requirements.
ARE MY IMAGES BACKED UP ?
Absolutely. They are backed up that very same day, after the event. And then stored on 2 separate Hard-drives to minimise any potential data loss issues before the editing. When delivering the final media, I would tend to keep the data for as long as possible, and giving yourself the opportunity to make multiple backups.
DO I NEED TO RESERVE YOU A TABLE AT MY RECEPTION.
Not at all. We eat only when we think we are free to do so, and very quickly to ensure we are always available. We are not there as guests, we are there to get the work done. We always advise the client that the caterers provide us food before the main roll out to the guests so we can save a lot of time.
ARE IMAGES RETOUCHED OR EDITED ?
All the images i provide to my clients are edited. This means they are corrected for colour and light exposures. They will also be album ready at high resolution. Retouch of an image, is where I take the edited image, and completely make it look different to the way it should look. This is a very time consuming process which also may result in the client not liking that particular retouch as an image can take the form of 1000's of different ways. There may be occasions where i will take a couple of your images, and retouch them for marketing/promotional purposes, which you are also free to have if you like the style
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOGRAPHY?
You will be able to view your images typically within 1 month of the last event. All images I present to you are edited
DO YOU REQUIRE A LIST OF FAMILY/GUESTS FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHY
Its your wedding day. If you want to be specific on the focus of the photography, I would request this from you. But typically, I am left to shoot freely, as I always overshoot and get pretty much everyone who i think is important on the day. And having 2 or more photographers produces a much more variety of captures.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECIEVE?
Bit of tricky question. Typically, it depends on the number of hours i am contracted for, the number of crew and type of event/number of guests
But i really do try to get as many images shot as possible during my time with you and present you with both quality and qauntity

CAN I SHARE MY IMAGES ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Absosultley. As soon as I send your images, you can share and use them wherever you wish without permission. Its your wedding and you should have these rights in full.
Do YOU DO ALBUMS?
Yes i do. The link for these are here. I provide one of the best album design process in the industry. From start to end, the process is very bespoke and guaranteed you are very happy with the final product.
HOW DO YOU DESIGN THE ALBUMS?
Once i sent you all your edited images, it will be up to you to choose and select approx 160 images, where then you would send this to me on an online transfer. I will then download and arrange/design accordingly, and send you a link to view the design layout. You can have the option to make some changes, or we can go to print. Once we go to print, it typically takes 3-4 weeks to receive the album itself.
