It was quite a windy day for the couple photo-shoot. At times, challenging, but the end result was very satisfying. I got some great clicks for the wedding couple, with the help of mother nature. A beautiful church wedding and reception, some would say it was a perfect day. #churchwedding, #weddingphotography, #photoshoot, #amargmedia
It was opened in the Summer of 2010, took 14 years to build, and is made entirely of imported Indian limestone. It was constructed according to the scriptures of the Hindu holy texts, and so contains no steel supports. Its site has an area of 2.4 acres (9,700 m2).
Many of the temple's component pieces were hand carved in the town of Sola, in the Indian state of Gujarat - before being flown to Britain and assembled. There were 41 marble statues of deities made in India especially for the mandir. The interior is elaborately decorated with carvings on the pillars and walls, as well as the numerous shrines with painted figures of Hindu deities. Some famous spiritual leaders and forms of Gods from other religions are featured in the carvings, including one of Mother Teresa and the Sikh Guru Nanak. At its highest point, the temple is 66 ft (20m) tall.
The temple has the following deities: Shri Ganeshji, Shri Sahajanand Swami, Shri Amba Mataji, Shri Simandhar Swami, Shri Radha Krishna, Shri Ram Darbar, Shri Shrinathji, Shri Tirupati Balaji, Shri Shiv Parivar, Shri Jalaram Bapa, Shri Hanumanji.

Heres a shot taken on the samsung S9, at a recent wedding event. There is actually a purpose for this set up after the Hindu ceremony ends. When family portrait shots take place, I tend to create a barrier a closed off zone between me and the wedding guests queing up for the photography. This way, they dont bump into the cinematic equipment and come into my shots as i am taking them. As a Photographer and Videographer, i am always aware of the surroundings and using whatever i can creatively to ensure the happy couple get the perfect shots.
From this pic...you can see the Burj al Arab and Jumeriah Beach hotel in the background. I am standing in the sea, DSLR pointing back at me and trying to take a shot. Downtime after shooting a Destination wedding in Dubai, and really enjoyed the sights. If you get a chance, check out some more of my Dubai Pics...

somewhat, i am not a particular fan of being in-front of the camera, and definitely not photogenic.
Best i stay behind the lens.

AmarGMedia | Photography by Amar, not only covers Wedding Photography, but also provides cinematic capture for Hindu, Muslim ,English & Sikh Weddings. We use a lot of different types of kit for each part of the day, but one crucial piece of equipment is our portable 9ft Mini Jib. This get the must have height|wide shots, and give a cinematic feel as it moves from left to right and up|down.
It also avoids the use of the bigger and more intrusive 14ft cranes which do a separate job, but can be expensive and does take up a lot of space.
Depending on your wedding budget, we can provide the best video capture for your wedding film, with your requirements in mind
Check out some sample highlights to get a feel of the action
The aim is simple, get the best equipment to do the work, make an amazing wedding film. Client is happy. Recommendations from Client !!
Based in Berkshire, we cover the entire UK and Beyond for both Photography and Cinematography at affordable costs
Here is a shot of me shooting a model in RABL Beauty Lounge Studio. I am using a flash drum, to diffuse the light with flash on camera. Looks a bit weird when its pointing at you, but results are amazing. Just one of the bits of kit i use for corporate and wedding events. Typically, only used for portrait photography, close up, but works well in light and dark conditions. RABL Reeta Aroro, who i have worked with in the past, is one of my personally recommended Make up artists listed on my Network of Asian Wedding Suppliers. Click on the images to see the final results
Your Local Berkshire Wedding Photographer
Many years ago, i graduated from University with a Chemistry Degree, and what followed was a 20 year-long career in Scientific research, working with the Big Pharma, Agrochemical and Oil|Gas industries. It was a very interesting and exciting path i took, and which i also benefited from. I had gained some exceptional skills in organisation, methodology, working procedures, communication, unbiased reporting, creative thinking...(bit of a long list, but you get the idea).
During this time in the Scientific industry, I always had photography and Video as a hobby. until i reached a point where i was balancing my scientific career with photo/video shoots. Then came the inevitable decision of choosing what i really wanted to do.....which wasn't really difficult. Thus, my full time Amateur to Professional Photography and Cinematography career was born, and i really haven't looked back.
Being based in Berkshire, i soon built a substantial and credible reputation as a Wedding Photographer, delivering high quality media, within advised deadlines, and within an overall excellent client service from start to end. You only have to look at my testimonials to get a feel of what the personal wedding service i provide. I really do take each client wedding I do as a personal effort to ensure it is done as best as possible.
And aside form this, looking at my portfolio of shoots and cinematic video capture, it should hopefully reflect the quality and skills of my work and give some type of assurance you are not hiring someone without experience. Images speak a thousand words, so i guess video is in the tens of millions lol !!!
Anyway, here i am, now full time professional Berkshire Wedding photographer, covering Sikh, Pakistani, Hindu and English weddings, throughout Berkshire and beyond, 6 years running and going strong. I personally believe and heavily invest in the concept, "once you experience my services, you will recommend me to friends and family"

So I found myself flying to Malta....
The lovely couple met me during consultation, and decided to invite me to cover their wedding abroad in Malta for Photography and Cinematography. Once the booking was made, there began the organised process of knowing what kit i exactly needed to take, the detailed analysis of exactly how the days would pan out during the Malta wedding, and using all my experience to ensure the right shots were captured at the right time, in the right place, with the right equipment.
That was the hard part.
Once everything is in place and organised, time to pick up a camera and shoot ! Then the fun begins.
To do a Wedding in Malta is a very beautiful and scenic environment. The images you can get out there is wonderful and if spending enough time.....can be very satisfying
I also managed to use my Aerial Drone - Phantom 3, for some wicked landscape shots......yes amazing views captured...but it does get a bit windy and the drone nearly flew away a couple of times. I have attached the Malta Highlight video below
Being a Berkshire Wedding Photographer, then covering Photography in Malta, was a great experience
Overall, i had an amazing time, and wish the happy couple the best going forwards.
The hotel where the wedding was based in was called the the Grand Hotel Excelsior
